Thomas W. Dickinson is a career energy industry professional with 40 plus years of experience in the private energy sector. This experience includes power plant operation & maintenance, energy system design & construction, retail electricity & natural gas sales, client account management, corporate energy & supply chain management and financial risk management (including trading electricity and natural gas commodities). He has worked for energy suppliers and energy holding companies throughout this energy career as well as for large end users of energy. Prior to joining Muirfield Energy, he was a Corporate Energy Director for Perdue Farms, Inc. where he managed $175+ million in electricity, natural gas, transportation and stationary fuel oil budgets, managed their multi-state Demand Response Program and coordinated the energy portion of Perdue’s Corporate Sustainability Program.
Licensing & Certifications:
He has held a State of Pennsylvania Professional Engineering License. Thomas is also a former member of the Association of Energy Engineers where he received his Certified Energy Professional certification.
Education / Military Service:
He received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering from the United States Merchant Marine Academy in Kings Point, New York and graduated Summa Cum Laude. He served as a 1st Assistant Engineer with Humble Oil & Refining [pre-Exxon] under his United States Coast Guard license and received an Honorable Discharge as a Lieutenant in the USNR.
